We are so glad you’ll be visiting Chicago Street Theatre. The main Schilke-Mullen-Miller Theatre has 129 seats; we have stadium seating so you can see the stage from any seat in the house. The Edith B. Wood Studio Theatre seats 40 patrons and is upstairs at Chicago Street Theatre. Keep in mind that we don’t have an elevator (yet!), so guests will need to climb stairs to attend events in “Edie’s Attic.”
Curtain Times vary depending on the production or event so please check your confirmation carefully. The house opens 1/2 hour prior to show time. We have implemented a ticketless system. When you arrive at the theatre, please check in at the box office counter and the ushers will have your seating information.
Late Seating is at the discretion of the House Manager and Director. Arrival after a production has begun means you may not be seated until intermission. We do our absolute best to accommodate guests, but for the safety of the actors and audience, we cannot always seat you immediately when you arrive late for an event.
Content Advisory: Chicago Street Theatre does not publish broad content warnings about productions, as sensitivities vary from person to person. When necessary, we provide a description of what each production may contain, in order for our patrons to make informed decisions.
Dress Code: Just be yourself! We want you to feel comfortable while enjoying events at Chicago Street. As long as it is appropriate to wear in public, we welcome you in anything from jeans to formal wear. The theatres are kept cool; if you often feel chilly, consider bringing a sweater or light jacket.
Parking: There is limited street parking available in the vicinity of the theatre. You may also park in the Trinity Lutheran parking lot on Lafayette, East of the theatre. There are also two public lots on Jefferson and Lafayette within one block of the theatre.
