The emphasis is on creative expression through structured play. The final class includes a staged “performance,” complete with Certificate Ceremony.

Building upon the foundation from Camp Improv, students continue with advanced work. The only side effects include developing strong listening and communication skills, living in the moment, and respect and appreciation of each other’s creative abilities. Have you dreamed of being like Harry Potter, Link, Elsa, or Captain America? Spend a week playing your favorite character! By playing games, making crafts, learning theatre exercises, and using imagination, students will develop and perform an original monologue inspired by a character of their choice.

Write your own play! Students will spend a week learning how to transform their original ideas into theatrical performances. Focus on writing skills, acting technique, scene structure, and collaborative storytelling will guide your child on a journey to becoming a playwright. At the end of the week, students will perform their scripts.
