Unique fashion show planned for May 17

I’m Kelly Hite, Director of Development for Chicago Street Theatre.  I am loving this new website.  It’s much more streamlined and easy to navigate.  We are very excited about “The Little Black Dress Party” coming up Thursday, May 17!  Get the Look for Less!  Fashions will be by Tevlyn at the Bargain Barn.  This is not your Mother’s fashion show!  We will have something for everyone and the best part is the price.  You’re not going to break the bank here to get an outfit.

Our committee is full of enthusiastic members: Barb Owens, Judy Doan, Joan Owens, Dona Henry, Karen Furlan, Shirley Remijan, Jonni Pera, Traci Brant and Heather Pflug are all hard at work to make this event a unique experience for all who attend. Our next meeting is Tuesday and we are planning menus, drinks, layout, models, and coordination of the entire event to run smoothly.   I must admit that I have never put on a fashion show before, but with this group behind me, I know it will be a tremendous success.

Not only do we have the fashion show, we are also doing “Project Runway-Chicago Street Style.”  Contestants will have 45 minutes to take an old unused costume and transform it into a costume that could be used for “A Midsummer Night’s Dream” in July.  Food, spirits, shopping and entertainment, what more could you want?  Come see what it’s all about.
