THE STORY: In the days of royalty and peasantry, there was, perhaps, no princess more quirky, boyish and mischievous than Catherine. Fiercely independent, Princess Catherine has managed to scare away every suitor who comes to call on her, much to the chagrin of the king. But Catherine’s will is tested, as the king arranges for Catherine’s marriage to a prince four-times her age. In exchange for her peasant-friend’s security and care, Catherine must be married off. An enchanting tale of a young princess who finds love in an unexpected place.
